Neil Walton serves as a Client Advisor at Partners Bank of California, where he partners closely with business owners to deliver customized banking solutions. He provides a single point of contact for clients’ depository and financing needs, helping them navigate growth and capital strategy through a relationship-driven approach.
Before entering banking, Neil built a distinguished career in athletics and coaching—experience that uniquely informs his client-first mindset today. He began as a student-athlete at California State University, Fullerton, where he was a member of the 2004 NCAA National Championship baseball team. Following graduation, he was selected in the MLB Draft and spent four years playing professionally in the minor leagues. After his playing career, Neil went on to spend over 10 years as a Division I college baseball coach. In addition to coaching, Neil worked as a consultant for Division I athletic teams, helping men’s and women’s athletes enhance performance, leadership, and mental resilience. These experiences strengthened his ability to coach, communicate, and problem-solve—skills that now translate directly into his banking relationships.
Neil is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he earned a degree in Communications with a minor is Psychology. He also holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology.
Neil lives in Costa Mesa with his wife and young daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family, and staying active outdoors.
